Jesus Loves All People | BENHAM Companies

Jesus loves all people, but He does not love all behaviors. Jesus loves all people, but He does not love all ideas. Jesus loves all people, but He does not love all political agendas.

When the woman caught in adultery was thrown at the feet of Jesus in John 8:11, His love for her told her to “go and sin no more.” He knew that adultery was not only a sin against God, but it would destroy her, her family, and her community. So He loved her enough to tell her to stop.

Ludwig playing basketballRecently, Robert John Ludwig, a 50-year-old former Navy veteran, obtained a sex change and joined the girls basketball team at Santa Clara Community College. This 6’8″ transgendered man now sits naked in the girls locker room as “one of the girls”.

Does Jesus love Robert? Absolutely. Does he love Roberts behavior? Absolutely not. Does Jesus love the political agenda behind Roberts behavior? Not a chance.

It’s tough for Robert to experience the true love of the Father when a nation not only accepts but appreciates his twisted behavior. This is a tragedy, and I grow more weary every day with the harsh reality that darkness rules the day when Light is hidden under a bushel (a comfortable bushel called the American church).

Robert, I’ve dropped my stone. I ask you to look to Jesus now for the power to be the man God created to be.  His love for you is great.

About BENHAMCompanies

It all started for us when we were drafted in 1998 by the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox. After several seasons of swinging bats, we retired and established BENHAM Real Estate Group. Since 2003, we have grown our small two-man office into a nationwide real estate brokerage by focusing on people, not money. In any economy, we believe that touching a life is far more important than bottom line results or growth. We have used this philosophy to grow our business far beyond what we could've imagined. Why network with us? We blog to share our ideas and create dialogue. We are looking to exchange ideas with ▪ MANAGERS and EXECUTIVES ▪ and other professionals who are developing and leading teams of people; ▪ MOM's and DAD’s ▪ and family members working to balance the priorities of family with the demands of a career; and ▪ ENTREPRENEURS and VISIONARIES ▪ who are seeking ways to impact the world in small and big ways. Our blog is not about sales techniques or ways to improve the bottom line; it’s about lessons learned and new ways to Produce Value and Breathe Life while Staying Faithful in Little Things. For us to take credit for building a successful business would be like a shovel taking credit for digging a hole. We’re simply the tools God chose to use to build a successful business. As we periodically share more about our key principles or comment on news of the day we encourage you to leave a comment on the blog or connect with us on Facebook or Twitter.
